Pedron Niall — aliases: Lord Captain Commander, Great Lord

Pedron Niall, the aged Lord Captain Commander of the Children of the Light, dismisses Jaret Byar and gives orders to Jaichim Carridin to prevent the death of the false Dragon and kill any opposing Aes Sedai. He reveals his strategy to use the false Dragon as a rabid lion to unite humanity behind the Children, then confronts Ordeith for eavesdropping before reflecting on his plan to conquer Tarabon and Almoth.
