Hopper apparaît dans le rêve de Perrin sous la forme d'un grand loup gris marqué de cicatrices, envoyant des avertissements urgents de danger et disant à Perrin de s'enfuir avant de se jeter sur lui pour le réveiller.

Dans le rêve d'Egwene, le loup Hopper veille sur Perrin, grognant les dents découvertes, jusqu'à ce que Perrin lui ordonne de rester en arrière alors qu'Egwene s'approche.

Chapter 36 - Daughter of the Night

Hopper appears in Perrin's dream, leading him to the domain of the Forsaken. He communicates with Perrin through images and emotions, warning him to be careful, and then leaps into the air, soaring like an eagle before vanishing.

Chapter 43 - Shadowbrothers

Hopper — aliases: wolf (loup), Heartfang, Moonhunter

Hopper appears in Perrin's dream atop a stone spire, communicating warnings about the Last Hunt and Shadowbrothers. He knocks Perrin off the spire with a final command to flee the Shadowbrothers.

Chapter 53 - A Flow of the Spirit

Hopper appears in the wolf dream to meet Perrin, warning him of the danger and telling him that Zarine is trapped. Upon Perrin's decision to hunt the falcon to free her, Hopper joins him, and the two wolves begin tracking the scent through the dream landscape.

Chapter 54 - Into the Stone

Hopper appears as a wolf in Perrin's dream, kills a Darkfriend attacker, and advises Perrin that the Stone is a place of men and urges him to hunt again after he loses Faile.

Chapter 55 - What Is Written in Prophecy

Hopper — aliases: wolf (loup)

Hopper trots beside Perrin in the dream, leading him to the bronze doors. He warns Perrin that his flesh is weakening because he holds on to it too strongly. He guides Perrin toward the falcon's location, turning and trotting toward the doors before Perrin reaches them.
