Ba'alzamon — aliases: Father of Lies

Ba'alzamon manifests in the fog before Rand, revealing his burned face and claiming their fates are linked. He tempts Rand to channel the One Power, offering power and immortality in exchange for service to the Shadow, and vanishes after Rand's refusal, leaving behind a magical illusion of fire.

Chapter 41 - Disagreements

Ba'alzamon

Ba'alzamon apparaît dans le rêve de Rand en tenant l'étendard du Dragon, révélant son visage brûlé et ses yeux flamboyants. Il se moque de Rand en tant que Lews Therin, lui offrant le pouvoir d'arriver à bout de la folie du Pouvoir Unique en échange de sa loyauté, puis disparaît après que Rand a déclaré son vrai nom, laissant des marques de doigts calcinées sur la chaise.

Chapter 47 - The Grave Is No Bar to My Call

Ba'alzamon — aliases: Father of Lies

Ba'alzamon appears in the mist to confront Rand. He taunts Rand as Lews Therin and offers him power. They duel spiritually, with Ba'alzamon striking Rand with his staff. Rand counters by stabbing Ba'alzamon in the heart with his heron-mark blade, causing the Dark One's avatar to scream and the world to explode in fire.
