Chapter 11 - Tar Valon
Sheriam — aliases: Mistress of Novices, Sheriam Sedai
Appears with three Accepted to greet Verin, expressing displeasure at the return of the runaways. She takes charge of Mat, ordering him removed, and strictly instructs Egwene and the others to remain silent and confined in their rooms until the Amyrlin decides otherwise.
Chapter 15 - The Gray Man

Sheriam arrives at the scene of the dead Gray Man and inspects the body with the One Power, confirming its nature to Egwene and Nynaeve. She orders the two women to keep the incident secret and dismisses them with stern reprimands regarding their conduct, sending Nynaeve to her room before Egwene retrieves her cloak and they both depart.
Chapter 17 - The Red Sister

Sheriam interrupts Elaida to summon the women to Mat, reprimands them for discussing the Gray Man, and confirms that the Amyrlin will see to Mat's healing.
Chapter 18 - Healing
Sheriam
Sheriam leads the three women through the lower levels of the Tower to the healing room. She maintains strict silence and decorum, later informing the Amyrlin that it is late and the cooks are waiting.
Chapter 22 - The Price of the Ring

Sheriam escorts Egwene to the trial chamber, instructing her on the risks of entering the ter'angreal. She guides Egwene through the trials, with Elaida washing her with water between the first two visions, and eventually reveals the secret that Aes Sedai can be turned to the Shadow by thirteen Dreadlords using thirteen Myrddraal.
Chapter 23 - Sealed
Sheriam — aliases: Sheriam Sedai, Mistress of Novices
Sheriam confirms Egwene is unharmed after the ter'angreal incident and oversees her ceremonial washing and the presentation of the Accepted dress and ring. She later rebukes Alanna for attempting to share Egwene's kitchen punishment, though she allows Alanna to visit Sheriam instead, before dismissing Egwene to her bed.
Chapter 27 - Tel’aran’rhiod

Sheriam stands in the kitchens with her hands on her hips, mirroring Elaida's stern pose.
