Chapter 33 - Within the Weave
Summary
Perrin, Moiraine, Lan, and Loial ride hard toward the town of Remen, observing the chaotic changes in the Pattern left by Rand al’Thor’s passage through previous villages. Upon arriving, they find the town in a state of celebration over a local victory against Aiel savages, though they discover an Aiel prisoner caged in the square. They enter the Wayland’s Forge inn, where they are greeted by the obsequious innkeeper Gainor Furlan and notice a mysterious, plainly dressed woman staring intently at Perrin. They are introduced to a bandaged man claiming to be Lord Orban, who boasts of fighting the Aiel with fellow Hunters of the Horn, while the group observes the townspeople’s fascination with Ogier and the Aes Sedai.
