Chapter 51 - Bait for the Net

Summary

Nynaeve searches the muddy streets of Tear for the Black Ajah but is intercepted by Juilin Sandar, who reveals that Liandrin and the other captured sisters are being held as guests of High Lord Samon within the Stone of Tear. Nynaeve rushes to Mother Guenna's house, where she is ambushed by Liandrin, Rianna, Joiya Byir, and Amico Nagoyin, along with Elayne and Egwene who have already been captured. Despite Nynaeve's attempts to channel and fight, she is shielded and beaten until subdued. Liandrin threatens Mother Guenna into silence before the Black Ajah forces Nynaeve, Elayne, and a beaten Egwene into a coach bearing High Lord Samon's sigil, revealing that they are being used as bait for the Forsaken Be'lal.
