Hurin rides with the group, sensing trouble and tracks before they are visible. He rides ahead to scout with Verin Sedai when the threat approaches, attempting to draw his sword to defend the women before Verin restrains him. He is frightened by the magical display and watches as the Whitecloaks flee.

Chapter 11 - Tar Valon

Hurin — aliases: Hurin of Shienar

Enters the White Tower square with the group but declines Verin’s offer of rest, choosing instead to ride back to Shienar. He secretly resolves to inform King Easar and Lord Agelmar that the Dragon has been Reborn, then departs without looking back at the Tower.
