Jaichim Carridin — aliases: Inquisitor, Child Carridin, Hand of the Light, Anointed of the Light

Jaichim Carridin arrives from Tarabon to report on the fall of Falme and the death of Bornhald. Niall berates him for failing to seize Almoth Plain and commands him to protect the false Dragon from death. Carridin leaves the chamber and is then confronted by a Myrddraal who threatens his family to ensure he kills Rand al'Thor.
