Chapter 1 - Waiting

Masema

One of the five Shienaran soldiers waiting with Perrin, Masema sneers at Perrin's bow and dismisses the Traveling People as useless cowards, only to be rebuked by Uno for his attitude toward a lone woman rider.

Chapter 2 - Saidin

Masema

A Shienaran soldier, Masema displays utter devotion to Rand, bowing with the other men and watching them with shining eyes as they await the Dragon Reborn's command.

Chapter 5 - Nightmares Walking

Masema

Masema declares the wolves' intervention a divine sign for the Dragon Reborn's cause, arguing that they should go forth to battle immediately.

Chapter 6 - The Hunt Begins

Masema — aliases: Shienaran

Masema approaches Perrin in the stream, asking why Rand abandoned them. He later reports to Moiraine that he dreamed of Rand holding the crystal sword.
