Gawyn al'Vere arrives with his brother, arguing that Elayne owes their mother an explanation for her disappearance. He attempts to press Elayne for answers and complains about the fear their mother must be feeling, but eventually yields to Nynaeve's command to leave the room.

Chapter 24 - Scouting and Discoveries

Galad's training partner, Gawyn has red-gold hair and joins the fight against Mat. He is struck in the head by the quarterstaff, falls, and is later healed by Aes Sedai before receiving two silver marks from Hammar Gaidin.
