Una figura masiva tejida de enredaderas y hojas emerge entre el follaje, identificada como el Hombre Verde. Tiene ojos avellana, uñas de bellota y una fisura de enredaderas marrones y marchitas en la cabeza. Saluda a Loial, reconoce a Perrin como un Hermano del Lobo, se dirige a Rand como el Hijo del Dragón y explica que el Ojo del Mundo encuentra a quienes lo necesitan.
Chapter 50 - Meetings at the Eye

The Green Man greets the group and tends to the forest around them, plucking flowers to place on the heads of Nynaeve, Egwene, and Moiraine. He speaks of his duty to guard the arch before stepping away as the group enters. He confronts the Forsaken, attacking Balthamel and killing him by forcing rapid, destructive growth within his body, but is burned in the process and transforms into a large oak tree to die.
Chapter 53 - The Wheel Turns
Green Man
The Green Man lies dead, transformed into a great oak tree. A small circle of flowers and grass around the tree's trunk blooms and remains green, protected by Loial's song, while the rest of the Blight recedes.
