Ila is Raen's wife, a tall, motherly woman who warmly embraces Egwene and serves the group a hearty stew. She is visibly pained by Raen's conflicts with Elyas and worries about the fate of those who cannot follow their pacifist way.

Ila le da un manto a Perrin, comenta sobre su hacha y discute con Aram, el nieto de Egwene, para impedir que intente retenerla con los tuatha'an. Participa en la despedida, mostrando alivio ante la partida de su nieto y de Elyas.
