Red is Rand's bay horse. He carries Rand through the dark of the Ways, stumbles briefly upon exiting the Waygate, and then trots calmly to join the others.

Rand's bay horse, known as Red to him, carries Rand through the receding Blight and into Fal Dara. It is later led away by a groom while Rand trains.
