Chapter 1 - An Empty Road

Chapter 3 - The Peddler
Tam / Tam al'Thor
塔姆陪同布兰和议会成员,坚定地抵御岑·布伊的挑衅。他在客栈里悄悄向布兰提供建议,随后进入内部引导芬,粗声粗气地保护伊文·芬加免受岑的攻击。
Chapter 4 - The Gleeman
Tam — aliases: Father
Tam al'Thor explains to Rand the political strategy behind the Council's handling of the False Dragon news. He reveals that he now believes Rand's sighting of the black rider due to corroborating reports from other villagers, and then leads Rand back to their farm.
Chapter 5 - Winternight
Tam
Tam inspects the farm for signs of the rider, reveals a hidden sword, and fights off Trollocs attacking their home. He orders Rand to escape, later falls ill with fever in the woods, and is found by Rand who intends to carry him to the Wisdom for healing.
Chapter 6 - The Westwood
Tam
Tam al'Thor lies unconscious or delirious on the litter, suffering from a high fever and muttering incoherently about battles, historical figures like Laman, and the Tree of Life. He briefly clutches Rand's collar and speaks of Kari before sinking back into murmurs, unaware of the danger passing them on the road.
Chapter 7 - Out of the Woods
Tam / Tam al'Thor
Unconscious and burning with fever, Tam is carried by his son into the destroyed village. He is transferred to a bed in the Winespring Inn by Mayor al'Vere and Thom Merrilin, where he remains silent and motionless while the Mayor tends to him.
Chapter 8 - A Place of Safety
Tam — aliases: his father
Tam lies unconscious on the bed, his fever gone after being healed by Moiraine. He remains in a deep, healing sleep throughout the chapter, unaware of the discussions about his condition or Rand's departure.
Chapter 9 - Tellings of the Wheel
Tam
Tam wakes up from his healing sleep, eats broth, and discusses the attack with Rand. He accepts the necessity of fleeing to Tar Valon, hugs his son, and encourages Rand to keep his sword, unaware of the chaos unfolding in the yard.
