Mandarb is Lan's stallion. He leaps toward the gate, catches the stone wedge with his shoulder to topple it, and carries Lan through the Waygate to the outside.
Chapter 48 - The Blight

Mandarb is Lan's black stallion, ridden by Lan at the head of the group and later dismounted as Lan disembarked.
Chapter 49 - The Dark One Stirs

His black stallion stumbles and bleeds from the fight, then gallops furiously with the group to escape the Worms.
