Busy with administrative tasks in the inn, Bran al'Vere reacts with alarm upon learning Tam is alive. He personally helps move Tam to a guest room, has the fire lit and Tam washed, and informs Rand that Aes Sedai can heal, suggesting Rand seek Moiraine's help.

Bran tends to Tam al’Thor before leaving the room to allow Moiraine privacy. He later returns with his wife, complains about the respect shown to Moiraine Sedai, and explains to Rand that the Trollocs seemed confused by the presence of the Aes Sedai.

Mistress al’Vere
Mistress al’Vere brings food to Rand, firmly manages the room's atmosphere to ensure Tam remains undisturbed, and instructs Rand to sleep while allowing him to stay by the fire to watch his father.
Chapter 9 - Tellings of the Wheel

Bran al'Vere steps out from the shadows with a cask maul to challenge Hari Coplin's threats. He lists the healing benefits Moiraine provided to the villagers, shaming Cenn Buie and the others before Moiraine begins her speech.
