Dapple — aliases: the pack leader

Dapple is a wolf with fur fading through shades of gray and a lighter gray patch on her face. She leads the pack and communicates with Elyas, eventually allowing Elyas to convey that Perrin should join them, and she remains part of the group that travels south with Perrin and Egwene.

Chapter 25 - The Traveling People

Dapple

Dapple is one of the three wolves that remain close to the group, fading in and out of sight, and is known by Perrin through his mental connection.

Chapter 27 - Shelter From the Storm

Dapple

Dapple, the lead wolf, grows impatient with the slow travel and communicates with Elyas about the shared nightmare of fire and pain. She signals the time to go and leads the pack in scouting ahead of the humans.

Chapter 29 - Eyes Without Pity
