Bertuccio appears when summoned by the Count to receive orders for the upcoming Saturday dinner at the Auteuil estate. He listens to the instructions to make extensive changes to the house while leaving the bedroom with red damask exactly as it is and refraining from touching the garden, showing his usual nervousness but complying with his master's will.
