Sheriam — aliases: Mistress of Novices

Sheriam, the Mistress of Novices, meets Egwene and Nynaeve on the wharf after being delayed by the Amyrlin. She explains the rigorous nature of novice training to Egwene and informs Nynaeve that she has been appointed directly as an Accepted due to her exceptional potential, then escorts them toward the White Tower.

Chapter 23 - The Testing

Sheriam — aliases: the Mistress of Novices, the redhead

Sheriam guides Nynaeve into the ter'angreal, explaining the rules and warning her of the dangers. She washes Nynaeve with water after each of the three trials, questions her reactions, and notes the unusual scarring on her hands. Finally, she leads Nynaeve before the Amyrlin Seat for the official acceptance.
