Chapter 5 - The Shadow in Shienar

Summary

Moiraine and Siuan convene in private to discuss the identity of the Dragon Reborn, the fracturing of the Dark One’s seals, and their strategic maneuvering to guide Rand al’Thor, Mat Cauthon, and Perrin Aybara using the Horn of Valere. In Tarabon, Geofram Bornhald leads two thousand Children of the Light to a village where he is intercepted by Einor Saren, a Questioner who informs him of their true mission against mysterious strangers on Toman Head. Meanwhile, Liandrin uses her strength to psychologically dominate Lady Amalisa, forcing her to search for the hidden boys under the guise of rooting out Darkfriends, before Padan Fain eagerly anticipates his impending freedom from the dungeons.
