Moiraine adjusts her shawl and reflects on her status as an Aes Sedai before walking with Anaiya and Liandrin to the Amyrlin's presence. She confronts the Amyrlin about the political threats against her from the Greens and Reds, then receives a private audience where the Amyrlin reveals a secret, dangerous plan.
Chapter 5 - The Shadow in Shienar

Moiraine meets privately with the Amyrlin Seat to confirm that Rand al’Thor is the Dragon Reborn, explains her plan to use the Horn of Valere and send Mat and Perrin to Illian to secure support, and reveals that the seals of the Dark One’s prison are breaking.
Chapter 6 - Dark Prophecy
Moiraine — aliases: Aes Sedai
Moiraine arrives in the dungeon to stop Liandrin from interrogating Rand, heals Egwene to induce sleep, and checks Mat's condition. She orders Mat taken to the Amyrlin Seat and directs the handling of the bodies and evidence.
Chapter 7 - Blood Calls Blood

Moiraine participates in the private audience with the Amyrlin and Verin, helping to heal Mat and later discussing the implications of the dark prophecy and the danger of the tainted dagger with concern for its potential to corrupt the world.
