Liandrin — aliases: Sister
Liandrin, wearing her red-fringed shawl, summons Moiraine with petulant urgency and brackets her tightly while walking through the corridors. She engages in tense interactions regarding the presence of Aes Sedai, displaying an angry and suspicious demeanor, particularly towards Moiraine's secrecy. When Anaiya begins to share political rumors from Tar Valon, including news of Logain and whispers from Almoth Plain, Liandrin abruptly interrupts to end the idle talk, asserting that the Amyrlin waits for Moiraine.
Chapter 5 - The Shadow in Shienar

Liandrin invades Lady Amalisa's chambers, intimidates her with displays of power, and forces her to swear an oath to help find the ta'veren in exchange for protecting her brother. She then leaves the apartments, feeling a sense of being watched.
Chapter 6 - Dark Prophecy
Liandrin — aliases: the Red Aes Sedai
Liandrin confronts Rand in the dungeon, attempting to compel him to answer her questions through painful channeling until Moiraine intervenes. She investigates the bloody graffiti and reacts with disdain when Moiraine sends Mat to the Amyrlin Seat.
