Geofram Bornhald rides at the head of a legion of two thousand Children of the Light through Tarabon, following orders from Pedron Niall. He meets a group of Questioners led by Einor Saren, who commands the legion to march toward the Blight to confront strangers, leaving Bornhald to wonder if he is being manipulated by unseen forces.
Chapter 29 - Seanchan

Bornhald surveys a village where Questioners have hanged villagers, including children, and interrogates a prisoner to confirm the perpetrators' identity. He dismisses a message from Jaichim Carridin ordering him to retreat, and resolves to lead his legion toward Toman Head to investigate the true threat of the Seanchan.
