A Shienaran soldier with a scarred face and painted eyepatch, Uno leads the Shienaran men in a unified bow and declaration of service to Rand, speaking with deep respect despite his usual habit of cursing.

Chapter 3 - News from the Plain

Uno

Uno helps rebuild a collapsed hut, then joins the group at the fire to discuss the news from Almoth Plain. He grumbles about the Whitecloaks, watches his language in Moiraine's presence, and agrees to take the third watch from Perrin.

Chapter 6 - The Hunt Begins

Uno

Uno reveals that the earthquake created a new path into the valley where Rand went. He accepts Moiraine's payment to ride to Jehannah and is dismissed from the active pursuit, leaving a frustrated impression.
