Leane Sedai waits in the antechamber, sternly assessing the women before admitting them to Siuan. She stands by Siuan during the interrogation and escorts Elayne out at the conclusion of the audience.

Leane stands at Mat's feet during the Healing. She sniffs loudly when Mat calls the Aes Sedai 'meat' in his past-life persona, while some of the other Aes Sedai mutter angrily under their breath.

Leane accompanies Siuan Sanche into Mat's room, observing his condition and reporting that he has eaten all his food. She later receives orders to bring Mat a piece of pie and something for his throat before departing with the meal.
