Uno examines tracks and droppings to guide the party, complains about the pace killing horses, and searches the empty village houses. He finds a woman at a window who vanishes and helps transport the ferry across the river.

Uno searches the ground with frustration, reporting no tracks before validating Perrin’s new sniffer status when he finds Trolloc tracks later. He accepts Ingtar’s explanation for Perrin’s abilities and rides with the party toward the south.
