Ragan
A guard at the sally gate who knows Rand and wishes he could help him leave, but is bound by the order to bar the gates without a written pass.
Ragan dismounts and wades across the River Erinin with Masema to retrieve the ferry. He scouts the south bank, reports the lack of ambush but reveals the disturbing discovery of the dead Myrddraal to Ingtar, then helps pull the ferry back across.
Ragan joins Uno and Masema in scanning the rim of the hollow for tracks before the group rides out.
