アラナ・セダイはエグウェンにテルアンクレアの反響について説明し、台所での奉仕という刑罰を共に受けることを申し出るが、アムリンはこれを部分的に認める。また、グリーン・エイジの役割と歴史についてもエグウェンに説明する。
