Selene es una mujer alta de piel marfilada originaria de Cairhien que aparece en este mundo, se salva de un grolm, aplica un ungüento en la mano de Rand y afirma conocer las Piedras de Portal.

Selene

Selene guides Rand's party to a Portal Stone hidden in the hills. She instructs Rand on how to activate the Stone and expresses confidence in his ability to save them, later explaining the nature of the mirror worlds and the potential location of the Horn of Valere.

Chapter 19 - Beneath the Dagger

Selene — aliases: my Lady (mi señora)

Selene pasa la noche tentando a Rand con promesas de gloria y realeza si encuentra el Cuerno. Cambia su vestido utilizando la camisa de Rand, se une a él y a Loial para recuperar el Cuerno del campamento de Fain, e insiste en que se dirijan hacia Cairhien para evadir la ira de Fain.

Chapter 20 - Saidin

Selene demands to see the Horn of Valere and tries to seduce Rand into taking it for himself, offering him glory and her companionship. She warns him of the danger from guards at the excavation and later follows him to the Nine Rings inn, where she makes one last attempt to convince him to claim the artifact.

Chapter 21 - The Nine Rings

Selene — aliases: my Lady (mi señora), the Lady (la Dama)

Selene acompaña a Rand a la posada, mostrando desdén hacia el personal y desconfianza hacia Caldevwin. Abandona la posada en secreto durante la noche, dejando a Rand una nota sellada con una luna creciente y estrellas, en la que indica que debe esperarlo en Cairhien.

Chapter 27 - The Shadow in the Night

Selene appears to rescue Rand and Loial from the Trollocs. She joins them in escaping to the Illuminators' courtyard, where she is separated from Rand and Loial during the explosion and later sends him a note sealed with a crescent moon and stars.
