Chapter 3 - Friends and Enemies
Egwene
Egwene encuentra a Rand escondido e insiste en que deje de huir. Lo lleva a la mazmorra para ocultarse, visita a Padan Fain y luego propone que Rand se disfraze de su sirviente para ocultarse en los aposentos femeninos, donde estará a salvo de las búsquedas.
Chapter 4 - Summoned

Egwene es observada por Moiraine a distancia en el pasillo lateral, disfrazada de sirviente. Se apresura alrededor de una esquina con una figura encorvada a sus talones, cargando fardos, aparentando actuar con iniciativa.
Chapter 6 - Dark Prophecy

Egwene yace inconsciente en la mazmorra tras recibir un golpe en la cabeza. Moiraine la atiende, provocando que se duerma, y ordena que la devuelvan a su habitación con un vigilante.
Chapter 7 - Blood Calls Blood
Egwene
Se describe a Egwene durmiendo en su habitación, recuperándose de su lesión en la cabeza, aunque no aparece físicamente en las escenas.
Chapter 8 - The Dragon Reborn
Egwene — aliases: girl (niña), young woman (joven mujer)
Egwene empaca sus ropas y habla con Nynaeve sobre su partida a Tar Valon. Un golpe en la puerta los interrumpe, y Nisura entra con noticias de Rand. Más tarde, Egwene se encuentra con Rand en el pasillo, le ofrece una despedida severa y expresa su deseo de ayudarlo, antes de que él se marche. Es observada por otras mujeres en los apartamentos femeninos durante este encuentro.
Chapter 12 - Woven in the Pattern
Egwene
Egwene viaja con el séquito de la Amyrlin, recibe lecciones de canalización de Verin Mathwin y embarca en el River Queen en Medo tras enterarse de la desaparición de Moiraine. Confiesa a Anaiya un sueño que advierte sobre el peligro de Rand, quien especula que Egwene podría ser una Dreamer.
Chapter 18 - To the White Tower

Egwene travels on the River Queen, worrying about dreams of Rand's danger and receiving a stern but encouraging channeling lesson from the Amyrlin Seat. Upon reaching Tar Valon, she is assigned to novice training by Sheriam and follows her into the city, where Sheriam promises to see them settled in their rooms.
Chapter 24 - New Friends and Old Enemies
Egwene
Egwene navigates her first day as a novice, sweeping and washing dishes under the direction of an Accepted named Pedra. She is paired with Elayne, discovers her ability to channel alongside Elayne, and forms a friendship with Min and Elayne. She is briefly charmed by Galad but attempts to steady herself before continuing with her duties.
Chapter 38 - Practice

Egwene practica canalizar pequeñas bolas de luz con Nynaeve y Elayne en su habitación. Escucha la advertencia de Liandrin sobre la Ajah Negra y el peligro que acecha a Rand, y, tras la partida de Liandrin, Egwene acepta la misión secreta hacia el Cabo Toman, jurando ayudar a su amiga.
Chapter 39 - Flight from the White Tower

Chapter 40 - Damane

Egwene is collared by Renna and forced to join the Seanchan column, enduring painful unseen blows for resisting orders and failing to channel a tree. She pleads for Min Farshaw's life, accepting her status as a damane to save her friend, and rides west with the Seanchan, resolving to find a way to escape.
Chapter 42 - Falme
Egwene — aliases: damane (damane), Tuli (Tuli)
Egwene reside en una habitación desnuda, canalizando en secreto para sondear su collar mientras observa a las sul'dam abajo. Cuando Min la visita, revela que está siendo entrenada para encontrar minerales y ha perdido la capacidad de tocar armas debido al condicionamiento del collar. Renna entra más tarde, castiga a Egwene por canalizar y la despoja de su nombre, obligándola a responder al nombre de 'Tuli'.
Chapter 46 - To Come Out of the Shadow
Egwene — aliases: Tuli (Tuli)
Egwene is freed from her collar by Nynaeve and attacks Renna to protect herself. She reveals the nature of sul'dam to the others and uses the One Power to blast Seanchan soldiers to help her friends escape, vowing never to return to her collar.
Chapter 48 - First Claiming
Egwene
Egwene enters the room where Min is keeping warm with Rand, staring at them by the firelight. She explains that she felt Rand pulling at her, warns Min that Rand is not safe for them, and leaves to bring Nynaeve with her back straight and head high.
