Una figura enmascarada que flota sobre los Myrddraal, Ba'alzamon se dirige a la asamblea de seguidores de la Sombra, anuncia la cercanía del regreso del Gran Señor y revela a los tres jóvenes que son centrales en el Tejido.

Ba'alzamon — aliases: Father of Lies (Padre de las Mentiras)

Ba'alzamon se manifiesta en la niebla ante Rand, revelando su rostro quemado y afirmando que sus destinos están vinculados. Tenta a Rand a canalizar el Poder Único, ofreciéndole poder e inmortalidad a cambio de servir a la Sombra, y desaparece tras el rechazo de Rand, dejando tras de sí una ilusión mágica de fuego.

Ba'alzamon

Ba'alzamon appears in Rand's dream holding the Dragon's banner, revealing his burned face and fiery eyes. He taunts Rand as Lews Therin, offering him power to stop the madness of the One Power in exchange for service, and vanishes after Rand declares his true name, leaving charred finger marks on the chair.

Chapter 47 - The Grave Is No Bar to My Call

Ba'alzamon — aliases: Father of Lies (Padre de las Mentiras)

Ba'alzamon appears in the mist to confront Rand. He taunts Rand as Lews Therin and offers him power. They duel spiritually, with Ba'alzamon striking Rand with his staff. Rand counters by stabbing Ba'alzamon in the heart with his heron-mark blade, causing the Dark One's avatar to scream and the world to explode in fire.
