Chapter 10 - Secrets
Nynaeve
Nynaeve viaja como Aceptada y utiliza sus habilidades para percibir el clima para detectar una tormenta de hombres. Canaliza el Poder durante el ataque para hostigar a los Caballeros de la Cruz y expresa preocupación por la empeorante fiebre de Mat y su propia incapacidad para sanarlo sin sus medicinas.
Chapter 11 - Tar Valon

Nynaeve llega a Tar Valon, visiblemente frustrada por la partida de Hurin y las advertencias de Verin sobre los peligros de la Torre. Sheriam le ordena guardar silencio y permanecer confinada, y lanza una mirada fulminante a Faolain, una Aceptada que se burla de su condición de Aes Sedai salvaje, antes de permitir que Theodrin la guíe.
Chapter 13 - Punishments

Chapter 15 - The Gray Man

Nynaeve leads Egwene through the halls, theorizing about threats and checking Elayne's room before pulling Egwene out of the way of a crossbow bolt. She uses Air to immobilize the Gray Man, examines the stabbed corpse with Sheriam, and uses Air to create a protective dome over the body. She questions Sheriam's actions and later urges Egwene to remember the danger of the Black Ajah and the Gray Men.
Chapter 16 - Hunters Three

Nynaeve hosts Egwene and Elayne in her larger Accepted quarters. She forcefully commands Galad and Gawyn to leave, using the lack of permission to enter as leverage, and later reveals the Amyrlin's secret mission to hunt the Black Ajah. She decides to attempt healing Mat herself and suggests combining their power to avoid burning herself out.
Chapter 17 - The Red Sister

Nynaeve attempts to leave but is stopped by Elaida. She firmly defends the Amyrlin's orders to Elaida and later challenges Sheriam's account of the Soulless cover-up. Despite her defiance, she complies with Sheriam's orders to proceed to the healing chamber.
Chapter 18 - Healing

Nynaeve es escoltada por Sheriam hasta la cámara de sanación, donde siente la abrumadora atracción del Poder utilizado para romper el vínculo del daga. Chapter 37 - Fires in Cairhien

Nynaeve takes charge of the stranded ship's situation, ordering Captain Ellisor to ferry the women ashore at Jurene to avoid wasting time. She insists on walking the shorter distance to the village rather than waiting for the ship to be freed and suppresses her anger at the Captain's fear of the Aes Sedai.
Chapter 38 - Maidens of the Spear

Nynaeve confronts the Aiel with calm authority and later heals Dailin using a mixture of herbs and the One Power. She expresses disdain for the Aiel's warrior mentality while commanding them to care for the healed woman, revealing her wilder heritage through her integrated channeling.
Chapter 39 - Threads in the Pattern

She secures rooms for the group and hires Juilin Sandar as a thief-catcher to track the Black Ajah, defending her manipulative tactics when challenged by Elayne.
Chapter 49 - A Storm in Tear

Nynaeve hires Juilin Sandar by paying thirteen silver marks and providing detailed descriptions of the Black Ajah sisters. She warns Juilin of their danger and later sits with Ailhuin talking of herbs while waiting for Egwene to return from the Dreaming.
Chapter 51 - Bait for the Net
Nynaeve / Maryim
Nynaeve struggles through the mud of Tear while buying meat, then confronts Juilin Sandar before rushing to the Wisdom's house to find Liandrin and Rianna waiting. She is shielded, beaten, and captured along with Elayne and Egwene, who are forced into a coach under threat of death.
Chapter 55 - What Is Written in Prophecy

Nynaeve waits in the cell with Elayne and an unconscious Egwene. She is shocked by Mat's arrival and tells him to mind his language. She steps forward and strikes Amico Nagoyin, knocking her off the bench, which breaks the shield on the women. She heals Egwene and Elayne's bruises and confronts Mat about the situation, eventually agreeing he is right to leave.
