Leane enters Siuan’s study to announce Verin’s presence and requests leave for her to speak. After Siuan grants the request and dismisses her, Leane bows and exits the room.

Leane Sedai espera en la antesala, evaluando severamente a las mujeres antes de admitirlas ante Siuan. Permanece junto a Siuan durante el interrogatorio y acompaña a Elayne al finalizar la audiencia.

Leane accompanies Siuan Sanche into Mat's room, observing his condition and reporting that he has eaten all his food. She later receives orders to bring Mat a piece of pie and something for his throat before departing with the meal.
