She receives Moiraine, discusses political threats including false Dragons and the Great Hunt, and reveals that Elaida has conspired with other Ajahs to punish Moiraine. She later dismisses Leane to embrace Moiraine as an old friend, warning them that their secret plans could lead to their stilling.

Chapter 5 - The Shadow in Shienar

Siuan expresses deep anxiety about the political situation and the possibility of the Dragon being gentled before Tarmon Gai'don, but is reassured by Moiraine's confidence in the Pattern.
