He orders the burial of Changu and Nidao’s flayed bodies on the south bank, then leads the party across the River Erinin into an abandoned village where the group finds a dead Myrddraal pinned to a door.

Ingtar demands Uno search the hollow again after the disappearance of Rand and the others, expressing frustration and doubt about Hurin's loyalty. He secretly agrees to Perrin's claim that wolves track the Darkfriends, concocts a story that Perrin is a new sniffer to fool the men, and rides south with Verin Sedai, allowing her to question him privately while keeping Perrin's secret hidden from the rest of the group.
