Dapple — aliases: the pack leader (Der Rudelführer)

Dapple ist ein Wolf, dessen Fell durch verschiedene Grautöne verblasst und der eine hellgraue Stelle im Gesicht hat. Sie führt den Rudel und kommuniziert mit Elyas, lässt Elyas schließlich Perrin beitreten, und bleibt Teil der Gruppe, die mit Perrin und Egwene nach Süden reist.

Dapple is one of the three wolves that remain close to the group, fading in and out of sight, and is known by Perrin through his mental connection.

Dapple leads the pack of wolves, scouting ahead and communicating with Elyas. She battles the ravens in the psychic link felt by Perrin, gathering the pack to move toward the stedding after the wolves are injured in the confrontation.

Chapter 38 - Rescue

Dapple

Through Perrin's mental link, Dapple confirms that Elyas is alive and tending a wound in a cave. She later sends a message to Perrin promising that they will meet again, streaked with anticipation and resignation.
