Chapter 11 - Tar Valon

Sheriam — aliases: Sheriam Sedai (Sheriam Sedai), Mistress of Novices (Mestra das Novícias)

Sheriam Sedai aparece no portão da Torre para receber o retorno das três Aes Sedai, expressando desprezo pela partida não autorizada delas. Verin Sedai ordena que Mat seja levado para longe de olhares curiosos e instrui Sheriam a confinar Egwene, Nynaeve e Elayne em seus quartos sob estrito silêncio até que a Amyrlin deseje vê-las, ou talvez não. Sheriam Sedai transmite a gravidade de suas ações, notando que elas têm mais habilidade do que ela jamais esperou ver, e ameaça punição severa por qualquer quebra de regra.

Chapter 15 - The Gray Man

Sheriam arrives at the top of the ramp, discovers the dead Gray Man, and uses the Touch and Air to confirm his death and cover the body. She questions Egwene and Nynaeve about the incident, reprimands Nynaeve for challenging her authority, and orders them to keep the event secret before dismissing them with a stern glare.

Chapter 17 - The Red Sister

Sheriam entra na sala, interrompendo o interrogatório de Elaida. Ela discute brevemente os rumores sobre a Ajah Negra com Elaida antes de se dirigir às três mulheres. Ela repreende Nynaeve por falar sobre o incidente dos Sem-Alma e avisa Elayne, esclarecendo o pequeno número de pessoas que conhecem o segredo. Em seguida, ela leva as três mulheres para ver a Amyrlin Seat sobre a cura de Mat, mantendo uma expressão severa e inescrutável.

Chapter 18 - Healing

Sheriam leads the three women through the dark passages and joins the circle of Aes Sedai. She instructs them to stay against the wall and remain silent, warning them not to interfere. She reminds the Amyrlin that it is late and the cooks are waiting before leaving with the others.

Chapter 22 - The Price of the Ring

Sheriam conduz Egwene à câmara de iniciação, profere os avisos do ritual e guia Egwene para fora dos arcos após cada visão, observando o preço de se tornar Aes Sedai.

Chapter 23 - Sealed

Sheriam / Sheriam Sedai — aliases: Mistress of Novices (Mestra das Novícias)

Sheriam Sedai oversees Egwene's ceremony, checking her for harm and expressing fear that Egwene almost died, though she does not know the specific cause of the ter’angreal malfunction to Egwene. She defends Alanna’s desire to share in the punishment and sternly warns Egwene about her duty to protect herself now that she is an Accepted before telling Egwene to see her in the morning.
