Chapter 16 - In the Mirror of Darkness

Selene — aliases: my Lady (mia Signora)

Selene is a tall, ivory-pale woman from Cairhien who appears in this world, saves herself from a grolm, applies salve to Rand's hand, and claims knowledge of Portal Stones.

Chapter 17 - Choices

Selene

Selene guides Rand's party to a Portal Stone hidden in the hills. She instructs Rand on how to activate the Stone and expresses confidence in his ability to save them, later explaining the nature of the mirror worlds and the potential location of the Horn of Valere.

Chapter 19 - Beneath the Dagger

Selene — aliases: my Lady (mia Signora)

Selene spends the night tempting Rand with promises of glory and kingship if he finds the Horn. She changes her dress using Rand’s shirt, joins him and Loial to retrieve the Horn from Fain’s camp, and insists they head toward Cairhien to evade Fain’s wrath.

Chapter 20 - Saidin

Selene — aliases: My Lady (Mia Signora)

Selene chiede di vedere il Corno di Valere e cerca di sedurre Rand, spingendolo a prenderlo per sé, offrendogli gloria e la sua compagnia. Lo avverte del pericolo rappresentato dalle guardi dello scavo e successivamente lo segue fino alla locanda dei Nove Anelli, dove fa un ultimo tentativo di convincerlo a reclamare l'artefatto.

Chapter 21 - The Nine Rings

Selene — aliases: my Lady (mia Signora), the Lady (la Signora)

Selene accompagna Rand alla locanda, mostrando distacco nei confronti del personale e sospetto verso Caldevwin. Abbandona la locanda di nascosto durante la notte, lasciando a Rand un biglietto sigillato con una mezzaluna e delle stelle, in cui afferma di doverlo aspettare a Cairhien.

Chapter 27 - The Shadow in the Night

Selene

Selene appears to rescue Rand and Loial from the Trollocs. She joins them in escaping to the Illuminators' courtyard, where she is separated from Rand and Loial during the explosion and later sends him a note sealed with a crescent moon and stars.
