Bayle Domon meets three men in the Badger inn and accepts a heavy purse to sail to Mayene for a hidden passenger. He later discovers the accompanying warrant is for his own arrest by King Galldrian of Cairhien, and he forces his crew to sail the Spray immediately to escape.

He listens to their plea to sail, reveals his shallow-draft ship can evade patrols if given a damane, warns them of the terror of the collars by describing the capture of an Aes Sedai, and reluctantly agrees to be ready to sail after Nynaeve shows her ring.

Bayle Domon stands on the deck of his ship, the Spray, watching the town for the returning women. He gives urgent orders to his crew, ensuring axes are ready and threatening to split any man's skull who tries to cut a line before the women board.

Chapter 46 - To Come Out of the Shadow

Bayle Domon stands on the deck of the Spray, restraining his crew from fleeing despite the chaos of fire and lightning over Falme. He insists on keeping his word to the women and waits for them to arrive.
