Una figura mascherata fluttuante sopra i Myrddraal, Ba'alzamon si rivolge all'assemblea dei seguaci dell'Ombra, annuncia la vicinanza del ritorno del Gran Signore e rivela i tre giovani uomini centrali nel Pattern.

Chapter 15 - Kinslayer

Ba'alzamon — aliases: Father of Lies (Padre delle Bugie)

Ba'alzamon si manifesta nella nebbia davanti a Rand, mostrando il suo volto bruciato e affermando che i loro destini sono legati. Tenta Rand di incanalare il Potere Uno, offrendogli potere e immortalità in cambio del servizio all'Ombra, e scompare dopo il rifiuto di Rand, lasciando dietro di sé un'illusione magica di fuoco.

Ba'alzamon

Ba'alzamon appears in Rand's dream holding the Dragon's banner, revealing his burned face and fiery eyes. He taunts Rand as Lews Therin, offering him power to stop the madness of the One Power in exchange for service, and vanishes after Rand declares his true name, leaving charred finger marks on the chair.

Chapter 47 - The Grave Is No Bar to My Call

Ba'alzamon — aliases: Father of Lies (Padre delle Bugie)

Ba'alzamon appears in the mist to confront Rand. He taunts Rand as Lews Therin and offers him power. They duel spiritually, with Ba'alzamon striking Rand with his staff. Rand counters by stabbing Ba'alzamon in the heart with his heron-mark blade, causing the Dark One's avatar to scream and the world to explode in fire.
