Lanfear appears before Rand in the form of a young girl, taunting him about his refusal to join the Shadow and denying responsibility for the chaotic events. She pins him against a wall with her channeling, reveals she can unravel his flows, and warns him that other Forsaken seek Callandor before dropping her concealment and leaving him to retrieve the sword.
