Gawyn of House Trakand exits the Amyrlin's study in a fury, questioning Min about the disappearance of his sister Elayne and the other girls. He asserts his duty to protect Elayne as Daughter-Heir of Andor and warns Min against angering the Amyrlin before departing for the practice yard.

Chapter 17 - Deceptions

Gawyn meets Min under the guise of concern, giving her a book to help her persuade his brother, and presses her for news of Elayne and Egwene while noting Galad's suspicious association with Whitecloaks.
