Red is the bay horse lent to Rand by Master Gill, described as tall and deep-chested but lacking the fire of Cloud. He is led down the ramp into the cellar and through the Waygate.
Red is Rand's bay horse, ridden by Rand through the Blight and into the sanctuary. The horse trembles during the attack and is reined in by Rand as the landscape shifts.
