Chapter 3 - The Peddler

Nynaeve appears to scold Rand, Mat, and Perrin for their foolish talk of the Dark One and the Dragon Reborn. She dismisses the Council's handling of the situation and announces her intent to question Fain. She warns Mat about his tongue, then disappears into the inn, leaving Egwene behind.
Chapter 4 - The Gleeman

Nynaeve emerges from the inn with the Village Council, confronting Bran al'Vere about his prioritization of the gleeman and guests over the danger of the False Dragon. She leaves abruptly after a heated exchange, followed by Egwene.
Chapter 7 - Out of the Woods

Nynaeve dances with Rand and with Moiraine before following them to the gate. She angrily confronts Moiraine and Lan about the burning inn and the loss of Master Fitch's livelihood, accusing them of prioritizing the boys over innocent lives.

Nynaeve rides with the group, questions Moiraine's pace, and fights beside Moiraine against the Trollocs. She gives Moiraine a packet of herbs to help her recover and helps support her as they enter the city.

Nynaeve rides with Moiraine and Lan, marveling at the White Bridge while secretly judging the Aes Sedai's calm demeanor. She interrogates townsfolk about the fires and a fleeing boat, then confronts Moiraine about her priorities regarding Egwene and the boys before they depart for Caemlyn.
Chapter 37 - The Long Chase

Nynaeve waits in the dark woods for Moiraine and Lan, gripping the reins of their horses. She listens to their plan to free a prisoner from the Whitecloak camp and secretly cuts the picket-ropes of the mounted horses. Finding Bela, she realizes Egwene is among the captives and escapes on the mare as lightning scatters the horses and wolves attack.
Chapter 38 - Rescue

Nynaeve rides Bela to meet the group at the rendezvous point and hugs Egwene. She heals Perrin's bruises with an ointment, notices his yellowed eyes with worry, and argues with Moiraine about the lack of a solution, before storming off in anger.
Chapter 41 - Old Friends and New Threats

Reunites with Rand, hugging him and expressing relief. She attempts to treat Mat but is repelled by his accusations, then is physically pulled away from him by Moiraine. She listens in horror as Moiraine explains the cursed nature of Mat’s dagger.

Chapter 46 - Fal Dara
