Moiraine arrives in Emond's Field wearing a blue velvet cloak and intricate gold jewelry, accompanied by her sword-wielding attendant Lan. She interacts with Rand and Mat in the Green, giving them silver coins and tasks while claiming to be a student of history interested in the region's past.
Chapter 4 - The Gleeman
Moiraine — aliases: Lady
Moiraine joins the crowd watching Thom Merrilin and engages in a polite but wary exchange with him regarding his stories. She accepts his bow with grace before walking away with Lan.
Chapter 7 - Out of the Woods
Moiraine / Moiraine Sedai — aliases: Aes Sedai
Moiraine sits with Lan, examining the bodies of dead Trollocs and counting their band badges. She speaks with Rand, acknowledging her role in the battle and agreeing to attempt to heal Tam, despite the limitations of her power and the turning of the Wheel.
Chapter 8 - A Place of Safety
Moiraine / Moiraine Sedai — aliases: the Aes Sedai
Moiraine kneels by Tam's bedside and uses an angreal to heal the taint from his wounds, explaining the nature of the One Power and the danger of the Myrddraal. She informs Rand that the Dark One seeks him, Mat, and Perrin, and orders Rand to travel to Tar Valon for safety, dismissing their protests and insisting they depart before full dark.
Chapter 9 - Tellings of the Wheel

Moiraine stands before an angry mob of villagers, using a flaming staff to intimidate them and then reciting the history of Manetheren to shame them into dispersal, proving their connection to the lost kingdom's bloodline.
