Mandarb is Lan's black stallion. Lan rides him to scout the path ahead and back, covering twice the distance of the others. He arrives in Baerlon with Lan at the front of the group.
Chapter 18 - The Caemlyn Road
Mandarb
Lan's black stallion participates in the charge against the Trollocs and is later led by the reins while the group hides in the ruins.
Chapter 21 - Listen to the Wind
Mandarb
Lan's black stallion is present at the campsite. Lan mounts Mandarb after saddling it and leads the group south, followed by Nynaeve.
