Master Fitch, the plump and chatty innkeeper of the Stag and Lion, greets the group with warm hospitality, apologizing for the crowding and limited menu due to the winter's hardships. He ensures the group is served a private meal, scurries about with his maids, and bows frequently before leaving them to speak safely.

Fitch argues with Sara the cook and tries to stop her from resigning, then leaves the kitchen.
Chapter 17 - Watchers and Hunters
Fitch — aliases: Master Fitch, innkeeper
Fitch leads the group to the gate with assurances of secrecy, then departs as the inn burns. Moiraine later notes he will receive gold to rebuild his livelihood.
