The gnarled thatcher of Emond's Field who appears to complain about the weather and Nynaeve's predictions. He spreads gloom about the lack of storks and the possibility of the winter ending, before fleeing the Mayor's wrath to seek mulled wine.
Chapter 3 - The Peddler
Cenn / Cenn Buie — aliases: the thatcher
Cenn Buie challenges the Council's authority and Fain's narrative, refusing to remain silent about the lack of spring and the danger of the Dragon Reborn. He argues with the Mayor and Tam, who reprimand him for his conduct and remind him of his position on the Council.
