Aldieb is Moiraine’s white mare. She moves out to allow the gatekeeper a clear view of Moiraine and is led through the gates of Baerlon.

Aldieb, Moiraine's horse, is ridden by Moiraine and dances sideways in frustration as she leaves Baerlon.

Aldieb is Moiraine's white mare, which dashes and cuts at Trollocs with the slightest touch. She staggers during the earthquake and Moiraine sways in the saddle as she leans on the reins and saddle for support, eventually being led by the reins by Lan after the Aes Sedai dismounts.

Aldieb is brought into the safehouse by Thom and left standing as the group moves into the room, serving as Moiraine's mount.

Chapter 21 - Listen to the Wind

Aldieb

Aldieb is Moiraine's white mare. She browses on sparse weeds behind Moiraine during their conversation and has her tack prepared for departure by Lan.

Chapter 28 - Footprints in Air

Aldieb

Aldieb is the white mare ridden by Moiraine, which carries her across the White Bridge and into Whitebridge.

Chapter 44 - The Dark Along the Ways

Aldieb stretches her nose to nuzzle Moiraine's hand in the stable, steps delicately down the ramp into the cellar, and is led through the Waygate by Moiraine.

Chapter 45 - What Follows in Shadow

Aldieb is Moiraine's white mare. She dances with fear as Moiraine exits the Waygate, her eyes rolling, and is led away by the Aes Sedai.

Chapter 46 - Fal Dara

Aldieb

Aldieb is Moiraine's white mare, ridden through the forest and into Fal Dara. She quickens her pace as Moiraine approaches the fortress and is led through the streets and into the keep.

Chapter 48 - The Blight

Aldieb

Aldieb is Moiraine's white mare, ridden into the Blight and later dismounted as Moiraine prepares to weave the illusion.

Chapter 49 - The Dark One Stirs

Aldieb

Moiraine's white mare, ridden by Moiraine through the camp and into the Blight. She is led through the fighting and up the mountain, moving quickly under her rider's command.

Chapter 53 - The Wheel Turns

Aldieb

Moira's white mare carries the litter supporting Moiraine out of the Blight. Her blanketroll, containing the Dragon banner, is kept secret in Moira's chambers.
