Chapter 41 - Among the Tuatha’an

Raen — aliases: Seeker, Mahdi

Raen, a wiry, gray-haired Tinker leader, welcomes Perrin and his group to the camp with ritual phrases. He explains the Tuatha'an philosophy regarding violence and the search for the song. Ihvon and others assist in carrying the wounded Perrin into Raen's wagon, where Raen is later dismissed by his wife.

Chapter 42 - A Missing Leaf

Raen, the Tinker leader, offers Perrin a farewell feast and politely declines the offer to settle in Emond’s Field, citing the Tinkers' need to move for safety and their adherence to the Way of the Leaf.
